Hey guys,

After doing alot of research I decided that I wanted to go Polk for the components in my 04 FX4 F150. I went with the db6501 6.5"s and I'm stoked to install them. I know I am going to need an amp, but I am just lost on what to get for door speakers. I know the specs say they need 100w RMS a piece at 4 ohms.. Any help would be great!

Any decent brand amp within those specs will do just fine.
What's your budget for an amp?
How many sets of db's do you have?

Just make sure you get a quality brand and no flea market crap. Anything from the major brands like MTX, Rockford Fosgate, Alpine and so on will do fine. A 2 channel in the 50-100 watt range will suit you well.

Here is an idea if youre tight on a budget - the PA200.4 is available on Polk's Ebay site for $130 shipped. Thats gonna be hard to beat. You can run the tweeters off the front amp channels thru the crossover and run the mids full range off the rear channels.
