Convert extra PSW10 to MBM

I have a PSW10 laying around and was considering using it as a midbass module. Anyone think this would be worth trying out? I'd probably use one of those FMOD high pass filters.

Main sub: SVS PB12 Plus/2

I would set my AVR xover to 150Hz, sub out to 10' cable with y-splitter at end, enable SVS xover to 50-70hz. Other end of y-splitter to PSW10 located behind couch/main LP with high pass inline.

I know my AVR has 2 sub outs, but it would easier to split the 1 sub out from the SVS rather than buying and running a 25-30ft cable.

GOOD/BAD idea?

Well I went ahead and did this and I love it. Have my AVR crossed at 160hz, my SVS at around 70Hz and the PSW10 at 160Hz with the FMODs inline. Overall bass in my living room has improved and I found that I could get rid of the Antimode 8033C I just hooked up.

I don't know why, but I am guessing I had some nulls from just the SVS in the front corner, and when adding the PSW10 just behind my LP, it filled in the gaps. It has me thinking of finding a used PSW10 for cheap or another semi-budget 10" sub to get even more punch.
