Turntable Setup Question

I just bought a new Pro-Ject Xpression III with an upgraded cartridge (Ortofon Bronze). While I was doing the setup on it, I discovered that I had a copy of the Hi-Fi News Analog Test LP, so I started using it on that TT & just for fun, my other TT's. While doing all this, I noticed some differences between the TT's that I thought were a bit odd. So...... I was wondering if any of you guys have used this LP before and whether or not such a thing is even worth using in this situation??
