Anybody familiar with this cable, and what's your opinion? I bought this from E-bay and connected it to my DAC. I actually hear an improvement in sound. You guys talk a lot about MIT Cables, which I love.but, I never have read any thing about Digital cable MIT's.. THANKS
Here is the Needed help question:I don't see the directional arrow signal flow.how can I tell which is the correct end to connect to input. thanks again

It's digital so it wouldnt be directional.design is where science and art break even.

Don't know much about digital cables but IMO digital is digital. Quality counts only as far as the signal gets from the source to were it is going. IMO cannot make 100010100101 sound any better than 100010100101.Sunfire TGP, Sunfire Cinema Grand, Sunfire 300~2 (2), Sunfire True Sub (2),Carver ALS Platinum, Carver AL III, TFM-55, C-19, C-9, TX-8, SDA-490t, SDA-390t

I'm learning, thanks to you guys..sometimes, I hate to ask a question, hoping that it won't be slammed...that's one of the ways I can learn.therefore,I'm going to ask.I have thick skin.... thanksPolkAudioClyde -
Some cables, even digital, are directional because the shielding on the cable is grounded to the source side of the cable to reduce noise. Also to my knowledge, MIT network boxes are directional because of their design and the components in the circuit. The cable very well my not be directional, but I would double check.

I have the MIT network boxes, end of the cable, connected to the input. This is how it is on the MIT SHOTGUN IC's.PolkAudioClyde

Lots of bad advice here. Digital cables make a big difference, both in jitter and signal degradation. If jitter is introduced by the cable it will lower the sound quality. If the signal (1 and 0 is an electrical voltage of a certain amplitude and duration) is degraded then the reconstruction by the receiver can add jitter. The cable can, and will, affect these areas so you want to eliminate, or minimize, these effects.
Anyway, I added the MIT Magnum between the Wadia iPod dock and the Bryston BDA-1 DAC, and it made a positive, obvious difference. It was like the MIT ICs I added between all the analog ports. The sound stage actually opened up a bit. However, I will admit the $1K MIT, while obviously better, was only a bit better than the $400 Omega-Mikro Zephyr cable. The point being, cables of all types make a difference, so get the best you can afford.
My MIT has a direction arrow (see middle photo of post 3 in below link), and there is a 'box' attached on the DAC end.

Have not tried a MIT d cable but I did have the Kimber Kable D60 and it slayed most any other d cable I tried.
I do believe d cables can make a difference. YMMVSpeakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)
