Cheap-@ss scammer on CAM forums

It's simply amazing how low some people fall to scam other people. The guy sold a pair of speakers for $100... He photoshopped the original photos and sent broken speakers to a poor soul. Then he had balls to post a new thread on the CAM forum and accuse the buyer of **** *him*... Of course, there were a couple of photoshop-savvy people who noticed the discrepancies in his photos right away...

I got burned by a guy on CAM last year. It was for a SAE pre amp. I sent the money interac email pay and he never sent the pre. I emailed him at least 20 times and then when I was out he leaves a message on my answering machince about how he's been having a tough time and he's an alcoholic and he wants to make this right. He'll be sending the unit this weekend.......blah blah friggin' blah. Never sent anything and I had no way to get my money back. That's the one and only bad deal I've had on CAM and I've done dozens. Very sorry to hear about you getting ripped off as well.

I can't believe anybody paid $100 for minimus 11 speakers.
For a $100 you can buy a ton load of mini style speakers NEW."The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. Viperz (and Fongolio) thanks for sharing. NO wonder I am so reluctant to buy online. I will take some trust (knowing the seller or an acquaintance that do know the seller) before I can embark in such hazardous venture. As pointed out above, it too amazes me how the buyer would pay that much for such little dinky speakers when you can buy on the new around that price. Both the buyer and sellers claim to have extensive audio knowledge... :rolleyes:DARE TO SOAR:

This was it right here but I think I was paying less and the guy had feedback at the time. I complained to CAM but nothing came of it other than his feedback getting wiped and the listing taken off.

Well, the guy (buyer) admitted in there that he was willing to overpay because those speakers were the designed match for a receiver he already had (wanted to complete the set), and to get the guy to ship.
pb sounds like a real "winner".Jay
