MIT vs Belkin Pure AV

I've been pondering jumping on the MIT clearance deal. Originally I was thinking about splitting a 10' pair with another member to upgrade our center cables. I know these MIT's are their entry level wires. Would they be a noticable improvement to the Belkins I'm currently using on my mains? I bought them here in the FM a year ago or so and I've been very pleased with their performance vs the mon$ter junk I was using previously.

Application mostly HT, modest setup with Pio Elite VSX01, LS50's, CS350LS, LS/fx if that helps.

Anybody? :confused:Need to make a decision before the MIT's are OOS.

I'm sure if I posted a thread that my Belkin's kick the crap out of your MIT's I'd get some responses....

I would just get a set. If you dont like em I am betting you will be able to get what you put into them plus shipping.

I just built 3 10 foot Audioquest cables bi-wire cables myself but still plan to hop on these shortly.

Worst case I end up with 4 cables I can sell for what I bought them for to some polkies here.

I say if you need cables buy them. They are MIT. Even though they are the entry level, there is still a demand and you can sell off if you don't like them.

If you're talking about the ones on audiogon that are like $118 for a 10' pair, i've been looking at those lately but have the same concern. I'm just worried i'm paying for the name and might be better off with a less popular brand, but maybe a better quality cable (signal cable, etc.)? Only one way to find out, buy more than one, see what fits best and sell/return the others.

If you're happy, stick with what you have. If you want to step up your game and get more involved with your system, as you should eventually, get the MIT. You can't lose here since even the price is low enough to deter most arguments.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I think you bought the Belkins from me. In my opinion the MIT's are worth it, especially at this price. I think the difference between them will be subtle, but it should be an improvement. As others have said, you'll have no problem selling them without losing any money...you could probably sell them for profit if you chose to do so.

I thought it was you but since the feedback system is whacked I couldn't verify. I went ahead and ordered 2 sets yesterday. I'll be selling a single for a center, a couple members have expressed interest.
