Ok its my Birthday today, I'm 30.. sheesh ok the hard parts over.

well my wife sent the kids to grandma's and she took me out to Texas cattle company. which is a very nice steak house here locally, I had a 32 oz Porter house with all the fix ins, a few brews.. and for dessert.. a 6 layer mocha chocolate cake slice, well the slice was about 8" tall (6 layer ) and about 6" wide.. wow that was good, i got my Monster sub cables today and my Monster digital coax.. I'm in heaven guys..

and to top it off after dinner, she got me the daredevil 2 dvd set!!! that i was just saying i wanted for reference for the new Svs, My mom bought me a bunch of Kitchenaid ultencils in red that match the rest of the Kitchenaid stuff we own.. got a pizza cutter, and about everything else they offer in cool red with chrome name badge on the handles.. came home, put the kiddies to bed.... ah i think its snack time now.. that cake and left over porter house is calling my name.. Cliff eat me,, Oh wait that was earlier, er i mean.. LOL nevermind... anyways that was my day!!!

    Happy Birthday.

When I turned 30 I went on a 2 week drinken binge:D I will never forget those 2 weeks spent in State College, PA. I did exactly what I couldn't do while in college which was really PARTY IT UP and not worry about cash.

40 is about 1.5 years out and I could not hang for 2 weeks but I'll definetly enjoy my Coors Light;)

Just turned 30 myself on Aug. 5. Moved into a new home on July 29th, wedding anniversary on the 31st, went back to work on my birthday. Probably the busiest week I've ever had but all worth it to be out of the apartment and into our own home.

Thanks , actually this was quite a splurge for me as of lately.. we took the cake home after a few bites(to full from the steak) The steak came home also, 32 oz is big, i did about half at the Restaurant. your right!! My mom did buy me clothes, and after i grew up and moved out i got underware and socks for several years, now i get tools and house items.. Go figure

I decided to go on a diet as i get older to stay healthy.. Ive lost 17 lbs in a little over the last 3 months.. this dinner made me gain 3 lbs for about 3 days LOL....

    Thanks again

I still think you should have asked your wife for a sub upgrade, or a second sub. ;)

Sounds like you had a good one - oh, and by this I mean as related to Doc's note above, not your B'day. ;)

    Happy Birthday anyway.
