Anyone here familiar with it? I'm looking into learning how to build some mobile apps, just for something to do.

It was going fine until I got into variables...then my algebra came back to haunt me.

Don't think of variables as Algebra, just think of them as places to store a number, string, or other piece of data (object).

Lulz... if the variables make your head spin, wail til you get to closures. That's some good times for sure! Hang in there, man. It all starts to make sense after a while. If you're using HTML5+JavaScript for your mobile apps look into some the JS libraries, where a good part of the heavy lifting is done for you. I loves me some jQuery. If you're working directly with Canvas there's fewer good options that I've seen. Good luck!

I'll need to take some classes during the summer most likely. I've been meaning to for years, but kids and women kept pushing that back. Now that I'm single, I might as well put my spare time to good use.

I'm already on there. I got through the XHTML portion, and was doing ok. Got to the start of the Javascript portion then crashed and burned.
