The show will be great but Fogerty tickets are way over priced,in my humble opinion.
If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

Yup and Yup. I saw him play on the "Premonition" tour.

I took my wife to see him. She was a long time CCR fan, but didn't get who John Fogerty was and absolutely didn't want to go. I forced the issue, and she begrudgingly went. When the lights went down, and he opened with "Born on the Byou", she turned, looked at me, and said (and I quote)"You son of a ****, you didn't tell me this was Creedence". I pointed out he wasn't Creedence, but to her with him singing, it didn't make a difference.

I was never a fan of CCR, but it was an awesome show, and seeing him play all those songs live made me a fan.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

Saw him years ago, around the time of his release Centerfield, was a great show, in my OP.
Not an Audiophile, just a dude who loves music, and decent gear to hear it with.

Saw John when the Eye of the Zombie was Released , I guess it was the Eye of the Zombie Tour, was an excellent Show as far as I remember, back then it is hard to remember all the shows, but that one stands out.

When CCR was accepted into the R&R Hall of Fame, Fogerty played onstage with a bunch of subs while his brother and the other two members of the band sat in the audience.

Nice guy who is maybe just a little to full of himself? That was pure evil man. Pure evil.

Love CCR and thought you might be incorrect about John Fogerty, George Grand. But after reading quite a lot of articles online, it seems that you are entirely correct. Except that by the time of the HOF shindig, Tom Fogerty had already died. John went up there on stage with a bunch of studio musicians while Stu Cook and Doug Clifford sat in the audience. That is cold. :frown:

"In 1990 Tom Fogerty died of AIDS (specifically from a tuberculosis infection) at the age of 48, having contracted HIV from blood transfusions for back ailments. John Fogerty has mentioned that the darkest moments in his life were when his brother took the record company's side in their royalties dispute, and the fact that when his brother died, the two of them were not speaking to each other.[

    Dang. That's ice cold. :frown:
