BADA HD-22 CD Player

For sale is my Bada HD-22.
I purchased this new from Pacific Valve & Electric about 5 years ago. No pets, No smoke, No abuse. It has served me well and functions as new but I'm upgrading.
I'd Rate it a strong 7+
The front face is excellent as is everything else. There are a few very minor "feet" marks on the top from a time when I had other items stacked on top.
I have the original box, remote and documentation from Bada.
$300 + actual shipping to Lower 48 I think is pretty fair.
If payment via paypal add 3% if you use non gift.
This should be a significant step up for someone at relatively low price.
If you have flat or lifeless player now this thing should make a big improvement. It provides great detail and soundstage while being slightly forward in presentation ... out in front of the speakers...at least here at my house. I haven't opened it in a while but believe the GE 5670 tube is in there now. I have the stock tube and maybe one extra GE too which I'll include.
Let me just make one note about this player. It IS sensitive to scratched/scuffed CDs. If you leave your CD's out and shiny side down etc. this won't be for you. If your CDs are well maintained you won't have any issues. All of my excellent CDs play perfectly and those with scratches and scuffs...well I know when to expect a skip etc.
I loaded up pics to my showcase but they are not appearing though they were all below 2mbs.(??) PM with your email address and I can email the pics if interested.
Let me know of any questions.
Thanks
Rich

This is an excellent player at a steal of a price. I had one and it was a significant improvement over the NAD C-542 I had at the time.
A great way to get into tubes. -
Price drop to $250.

Just an update on this. Someone asked me about the degree a disc would be scratched for the player to have trouble reading. Here is my response:
"It's a good question and tricky to answer. I mention it in the ad because it's more prone to skip or not recognize a scratched CD than I have experienced with other players.
Sometimes I would eject a slightly scratched disc and reseat it in the player and it plays fine.
That said it is working properly without issue on unscractched CDs. Specifically to what degree is tricky. I have about 300 CDs and only have a known issue on about 6 discs or so that I can think of. I guess somewhere between "slightly" to "moderately" scratched discs can sometimes be a problem. I consider my discs to be in great condition so I don't have any which I'd say are beyond moderately scratched.
It's interesting because at this point I know my scratched CDs and don't play them or have gotten new versions."
This probably isn't the best advertisement for selling something but I'm not looking for someone to get something they don't want either. The player is a bargain at this price, I believe, with a simple requirement that you treat your discs well to get the most out of them.
Thanks

the case on these players has a very solid feel to them... the remote itself weights more then some CD players. lolPolkFest 2012, who's going>?
