I was wondering what bands music anyone has bought multiple times and on what formats? I just bought the first Zeppelin cd remastered version, I have owned that on 8 track, several times on album, cassete versions, first release cd versions, and now the remaster cd version. I have also owned Floyds DSOTM that many times, on all formats mentioned, to include picture disc, and a rare japan album release that included a tour book of asia from floyds 73 tour. I have also owned Yes fragile on many formats. I was just wondering which Bands output, any of you have spent your hard earned money on multiple times?

    DSOTM
    Dire Straights, Money for Nothing
    Little Feat, Waiting for Columbus
Norah Jones, Come away with me
    AC/DC, Back in Black

Of these, I have most on every format available besides cassette, RTR and downloaded with multiple versions or remasters, special editions, extended versions, best master taped version and whatnot of each format.

Little feat Waiting for Columbus, excellent album, I own the original 2 lp set, and on CD, my only complaint is that on the cd version they did not include, dont bogart that joint" and A apolitical Blues, which makes the cd copy incomplete.

Yeah, that pissed me off for years when I was without a TT. Two great songs that shouldn't have been omitted IMO just to fit it on one disc. I do have it on CD now, along with 10 other songs with the extended version. Those weren't available on the LP's, unless Hoy-Hoy! was available on LP.

Who's Next. On my fourth vinyl copy(well, at the moment I think I have three "fourth copies"), 8-track, and at least three CD versions (best of which is the Steve Hoffman mastered Canadian MCA bargain price version). Would love to have a good, early UK vinyl pressing...

There's a recent Rhino 2-CD expanded version which addresses that travesty (and it is very good).

Got quite a few different flavors of Waiting for Columbus, too, now that you mention it! :-)

VH debut on 8-track, cassette, CD, LP multiple times at yard sales.

That 8-track was the first music I ever bought with my own money from mowing yards.
