The new company I joined back in October asked (in November) if I would think about heading down to San Antonio TX for up to 6 months to work. Let's see, head to TX right after the new year and completely miss that craptastic Maryland Winter completely...yeah, twist my effing arm! Sign me the hell up!

I've been here since Jan 2nd and am loving this upper 80's weather literally everyday (except for a few cooler days early this past week). The TX drivers are out of their effing mind though! I almost brought my Harley with me, but think I did myself a favor by leaving it back home. For sure I'd be splattered all over the road by now courtesy of some knucklehead in a rush! I won't be home till July 1st and miss the hell out of my Fat Bob (my Harley that is, so don't get any ideas!).

Today might have to be a pool day. Hitting close to 90 degrees this afternoon!
No excuses!

I'm in Maine, it's 41 and snowed all day yesterday. I'm thoroughly jealous. I can't wait to get out of here!

San Antonio is a pretty cool city full of cool historical stuff. Be sure to go to the Alamo!

I really enjoyed eating in the restaurants down on the San Antonio river. It's been a long time ago. I'm sure they are much more trendy and more expensive now than they used to be.

He might have a different opinion if he stays through July and August when the temp is 100+ for several days in a row.

Wait until the end of your litte tour and tell me you love Texas weather then. Oh, and you are about as white as a bloke can be, try not to get murdered.
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

The Riverwalk is very cool! Love all the restaurants! Yes, there are some fairly expensive ones, so i just let the Corporate Amex handle those meals!

I heard last summer, they had 60+ straight days of 100+ degrees. Not my cup of tea! It's supposed to hit 90 the next three days, but the humidity ain't bad...right now I suspect. Not sure how humid it gets down here. I'm flying out July 1st anyway to head back home for good, so it'll be plenty warm and humid when I get back to good old baldymore!

Ricardo, I have a young lady waiting in the wings to do a photoshoot with my Harley when I get back. Black biker boots, daisy duke shorts and a Harley tank will be her attire. Giggity!
    No excuses!
