Hi everyone, I got into the Lsi series about a year and a half ago, I have the 15's Lsi-c and the nines in the rear, I just got the Lsi/fx, a day or so ago I was wondering if I could replace the nines with the FX and if I could, would there be an increase in sound quality for the rear surround channel as I am thinking I may use the nines in another room any input would be appreciated.http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif

That sounds like a good plan, but an increase in quality? I can't see how the quality would improve, but a pair of speakers specifically designed for a surround role should improve the overall ambiance of your HT experience. Should be more immersive.

That's exactly what I did. I bought the LsiFX, and took my Lsi9's up to the bedroom. now I have two fantastic setups. mdaudioguy nailed it with his response.
