If I Recall correctly t is a 5 channel amp. if it is in good shape then $200 is pretty good. carver is well regarded around these parts. Is it local? Shipping would not be cheap as these amps are heavy. I would say pick it up if u like it.

I know and have heard this amp. It is a very good amp, and $200 is a nice price for it.

Left and Right channels are 100 watts
    Center is 110 watts
    Rears are 50 Watts

I have the AV705x (its bigger brother). I love my amp and got to hear it on some SDA's and MagnePlanar's as well as LSi 15's this weekend.

That is a good price for the amp and that amp will work fine w/ your setup. That amp should be able to drive 4 ohm speakers as well so it will work with just about anything you throw at it (with exceptions of course, the Maggies I listened to this weekend were taxing it a bit).

You should be able to use it on some SDA's, LSi's, or RTi's if you ever go with any of those.
