Upgraded to a Wyred DAC2 and a new Mac amp so my amp / preamp set is up for sale!
This is a C39 which I have worked to restore, functionally it's perfect so far as I have ever used it, but it needed bulbs and the glass wasn't perfect. I've replaced the glass, installed fresh bulbs, and refinished the case, as well as cleaned up the knobs and the likes. Looks fantastic once again.
The glass was over $200, and I ordered a shipping carton for it for $75 delivered from Audioclassics. I worked with them to get parts I needed and matched the paint with a triple coat finishing with the same paint that they use to refurbish cases. I take a lot of care and pride in anything I work on. The results are great!
Condition wise, the glass is perfect and case looks great with the fresh paint, there is a bit of corrosion on the tops of the screws in the very back, but otherwise this is a gorgeous addition to any stack.
I have over $325 in this preamp, am looking to sell for $650. The shipping crate is bulletproof, so I have no issue shipping it out to you. Also willing to deliver to the New England area within reason
