I have a DTR 5.9 (not really a pre, but has pre-outs). I like it just wish it had more than 2EQ, but that was the only version of room correction out at that point. This isnt something you will run into with the newer models.

Only problem I have had with it was the capacitors on the HDMI board went bad after 1.5 years. This problem was the same one as the Onkyo XX06's had so it was good I had a 3 year warranty since it got fixed with no out of pocket on my part.

So they are decent. I personally am probably going to upgrade to something Marantz (AV7005 probably) due mostly to looks (for the wife). The Integra's just look ugly .

You can buy the Marantz av7005 for $1100 street price or you can buy a integra 9.9 for $650 - $900

I would go with an nad pre as they have the removable cards so you may upgrade rather than toss it
