I have 2 subwoofers whose height would be the right height to place my speakers on, is that a bad idea? Is there something I could do to make it a o.k. idea? Looking to avoid buying speaker stands....
I am new to this stuff so I am thinking no but you never know until you ask...

thanks,

Yep, really bad idea unless you can isolate the speakers from the subs.

The speakers would eventually vibrate off the subs and hit the ground.

You could construct a stand which separates the speakers from the subs by an inch or so. This would keep the height you like and save space.

    * The stands would rest on the ground, not the subs.
