I am setting up audio for a new house (existing) and will be installing a Control4 system. I bought a Sony ES4600 network receiver to to the processing, etc. A separate 5x100 amp is so expensive, so I was wondering if I could buy a HK 2600 and integrate it strictly as an amlifier hooked up to the sony.
I'm not sure if there are certain connection you would need like "audio in" or something.
If that model would not work, any other high current DAC mid priced receiver suggestions would be great. I think Onkyos are certified with Control4.
I'm looking around $500.
Main Living RoomDT PM100 L&R
DT Mythos 7 Cent.
DT DI 6.5 Rear x2
MBR
Polk Rci80 Frontx2
Polk Rci60 Rear x2
??Center
Mstr Bath
1x Polk Rci60
mstr Bed
1x polk Rci60
Patio
Polk Atrium 4 x2
not sure what power source I should have power what speakers.
Thanks,
Jeremy

No you can't.
You need a receiver with a multi-channel input. The 2600 doesn't have it.
Get on Craigslist and find an older Yamaha/Denon etc... You can find specs and the respective manufacturers web sites. -
Thanks!
