Hi all. New to this forum. New to Polk Audio products. A pleasure to be here.
Just purchased pair of RTi 7, RTi 1A, and a CSi A4.
I have an Onkyo 608. Which settings do I use in Onkyo?
I assume the RTi 7s are FULL BAND.
Which settings for 1A and A4?
Choices: Full Band, 40Hz - 200Hz, including an 80Hz THX.
Cant seem to find this spec in speaker manuals of on web site.
Let me know of any other settings or tweaks I should be aware of.

Thank you
Larry

Do you have a sub? If so all speakers should be crossed over, otherwise run RTi A7 FULL and cross the others around 80. With a subwoffer I would still cross over RTi A7 at 40-50 Hz.

Experiment to see with what sounds best in your room.

Sub woofer YES, an older powered Sony.

Have it turned down about 1/4, other wise its way too much. Also have double bass turned off for regular TV.

I will work by ear. That seems the be the best way. Just want to make sure I am technically correct to avoid damage to anything.

Might try the mic to tune everything. Will that also adjust the crossover?

    Thanks for your help!

I could tell the Onkyo TX-SR8055 (130 Watt) did have a rich warm sound when I listened to in against a the Pio Elite VSX-23THX (110 watt) at the Magnolia in Best Buy on Matin Logans and Def Tech Towers.

However, i still bought the Pio because it work nice with the user, iPod adapter was included and the price was nearly $300 dollars cheaper. Sometimes, i think is still should have bought it.

    Now I got SC-35.
