Polk patio 25 at Sam's club
Does anybody have the Polk Patio 25 outdoor speakers? I was over at Sam's club and the looked nice but they didn't have them hooked up. Any thoughts?

i bought them, i have them running through a old sony receiver and they sound very good to me. much better than the cheapo outdoor speakers i had before. surprisingly good bass response for outside. At $150, i didnt know how i could go wrong. its a 6.5 inch driver, the comparable models start at ~$400.

What kind of receiver should i use for these? And are they all weather like the atrium series?

they are weather resistant, whatever that means. If they can be place where they will stay dry, its probably better, but if they get wet its okay too. I have mine under the eave of my house.
Should work with any stereo receiver. -

Just got these last night and installed them. After getting all sweat soaked in the attic to run the in wall speaker line and then mounting them under the eaves on my pation I was more than surprised at the clarity and bass which the speakers produced. I may have to let the neighboors know to call me if I leave the "b" speakers on while watching a movie.

I just bought my second pair today. I like these speakers. I put the first pair in my garage. I was so impressed I ended up buying a second pair for the pool. The replaced some old Bose 101's . They blow the Bose away in ever way. For the price at Sam's it's hard to beat.
