LSis, quietly moving out???

I got a headsup the other day on AVS from a guy that walked into Pacific Sales, an appliance and electronics store(s). He walked out with a pair of LSi9s on closeout at a ridiculously low price. I had to check it out, so I went to a local store and asked. There's very little inventory left throughout their chain (none in San Jose)...and yes...they have been moving LSis out, quietly, to make room for LSiMs. However, if you have a Pacific Sales store in your area, call them and ask about LSi inventory. Then ask if they'll offer floor model pricing. If yes and yes, then you'll be on your way before they hang up.

How much were they selling for?

^^ Just a guess, but I think Ron was trying to be discreet by not throwing the pricing out there...

I understand that but why create a thread with half the info. This isn't AVS, you can disclose prices here. -

Unfortunately, this is the last place in Baltimore where you can hear or buy LSi or even RTi
- < 5 miles from the headquarteers, and the only in at least a 50 mile radius. -

People just can't do enough for some around here. -
The LSi9s dropped to about $770 a few days ago on amazon, but looks like they're up to $1000 again.ALL BOXED UP for a while until I save up for a new place

Unfortunately they don't give pricing info out over the phone either. Called a couple stores in the SoCal area --no stock and didn't seem to be aware the line was about to be discontinued. They insisted they could order them, but it sounded like it would be at full MSRP.
