Thanks Mike ,I have been listening to his stuff via Grooveshark. http://listen.grooveshark.com/
You can't download but you can make play lists.SQ not too bad even though it's compressed files. The RAH tracks are particularly good.

I've turned a lot of people on to Bonamassa. Been to maybe 8 shows and every time I leave stunned. He is by far the best guitar blues guy out there right now. Nobody even comes close. Saw him 3 months ago in Orlando and I think it was Pat Travers that came out for a song with him. I know it wasn't intentional but when they were trading licks, JB smoked PT all over the place. The RAH vid has him trading licks with Clapton and JB is just a smoother player (IMO). I know Clapton is a guitar god but listen for yourself. And I love Clapton. I have every album he's put out. And I do understand the whole phrasing of the blues guitar and sometimes the silent note is the most poignant.

Now that Gary Moore passed away, this is true... :frown:

But yes, JB is a great player. My Pandora account is usually set to his "station".

I've had it for a while. Turned a friend in London on to Joe B, she ended up going the BCC show at O2 in London on Dec. 30. Said it was an amazing show.
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

True Joe is great, but have to agree with Upstatemax, I think Gary Moore had the edge over Joe, Gary did not tour the States much but the better stage performer was Mr Moore (R.I.P.) Pat Travers only was good on his non blues attempts and could not even come close to Joe.

I've got 3 of his albums. I think vthisv, and 'river' are my two favorites.

And if anyone likes Joe, you may want to check out Robin Trower as well:wink:

Joe would have some serious competition if John Mayer would jump back into his "trio" and really make a run with it...

John can burn up a stage with a guitar if he is in the right setting. Plus I'm a HUGE Albert King fan and you can tell John really studied up on Albert on how to pull raw emotion from a guitar.

Ok I just preordered Black Country Communion 2 will be released the 14th Joe & the Boys are back heard the song cold all the way through sounds pretty good, enough already with all these new releases and remasters it is getting pretty pricey feeding the new tuneage addiction, they say just say no but the pressure of new tunes always takes over!
