Has anyone heard of Becker speakers? Becker is known for car stereo but these are large carpeted PA speakers like a Peavey loudspeaker used by DJ's.
The piezo tweeters were too harsh for home listening so I went back to my good ol' polk 5jr's and polk T15's. The specs on my Realistic receiver are as good as anything for it's day(RadioShack was good believe it or not), but I want clearer high's. Could I swap out my Silver Coil Dome tweeters for something else? I'm new to this and may not know how to reply.

Sure, the replacement for the 5jrs SL-2000 tweeter is called the RD0-194. If you call Polk support, they will sell them to you directly for ~$100 a pair. No idea about Becker, sorry.

Becker made some fairly good to pretty good OEM drivers in the 1960s and 1970s. EIA code 24.
