    I've had the RT5 and the B&W302 in my home and in my setup I thought the RT5s were easier to listen to than the 302s. The RT5s are a little laid back and not bright which is what I prefer. The 302 is an absolute steal at it's cost and it's a fine speaker but I would pick the RT5 for my listening. I use them on some Paradigm stands filled with about 50+lbs of lead shot without spikes which I bought for my B&W 805 Nautilus for about a third of the cost of the 805 B&W stands.
    I bought a pair of the RTs several years ago and thinking if these sound so good the next larger size would sound even better so I went back and traded. As soon as I heard the first sounds from the larger speaker I knew I'd made a mistake and went right back to the dealer but the RT5s were gone. Last year I managed to buy another pair from a CP member. I'm keeping this pair!

    Thanks for posting the link.

    That was my pair, Don. Glad you're enjoying them. Definitely a great pair of speakers.

    I knew when I read your comment:biggrin::biggrin:

    They are doing very well and they're in near mint condition. Thanks. How are the speakers you bought just before you sold the RTs?

    Wasn't fortunate enough to actually own the rt5's but if it anything like the rt7s I own it has to be great speaker...You normally do not have strereophile mag give Polk love very often. I'm sure it hard for them to admit Polk can make great speaker without breaking bank "$"

    Stereophile repeatedly gives small Polk bookshelf speakers praise.
