which was the bigger revolution, in society and your home.

Taking into account large screens,.... hd.

basing it just on hd vs. color arriving in our house?

Hands down color, our motorola quasar, with its works in a drawer,so changed the experience, wonderful world of disney, bonanza, even daytime game shows, with the brightly lit glittery sets, fuggedaboutit.

We even had some of the neighbors coming over, not that they couldnt afford a new set, but they were hard **** penny pinching old school dads.

They all broke down eventually, but our quasar ruled blount st. east point georgia for awhile.

One of my TV memories was our weekly visit on Sunday to my cousins house. They had a color TV, and watching Voyage To The Bottom of the Sea was so cool in color.

Another memory was watching The Wizard of Oz every year. One year, while watching it on a color set, and the picture turned to color, my reaction was WTF! Until I saw that I never knew it was in color

    wonderful memorys.

Loved voyage, time tunnel, lost in space, cheesy now, mesmerizing then.

I can never start a thread like this, without thinking of what a better time, country and world.

Much more balance in life, and a little innocence and public reserve and modesty went a long way.

    Thanks for sharing.
