    IMO, base-line Sony gear is not worth owning. Now the ES gear is pretty good and the high end SACD players are out of this world.

    Don't do the baseline thingy, you will regret it down the road. I know this as I have a dead str915 that I use for paper weight.:D

    I concur...I had the Sony STR-DB1075 and after I found out that it only pumps out 35 watts in home theater mode I promptly put it up for sale and got the NAD T752 receiver. I'm glad I did...my LSi's never sounded so good before :cool:
