what to buy?

I'm looking to buy a pair of speakers. A buddy of mine told me to get a set of Polks. I've seen the t300's and 400's at Best Buy but couldn't really tell the difference in them except the price. .... Oh the the salesperson is a complete idiot. I was hoping to hear a couple of suggestions on what to get.

    look into a pair of monitor 70,s check the polk ebay site, great speakers, terrific value
