I have a cs10 for my center & 15 year old Pioneer
Bookshelf speakers & a Yamaha 12 inch sub
My living room is 10x20
I can get some monitor 50's & 30's for about $300
Or some monitor 60's for the fronts for about $275
And save up for 40's for the surrounds
Will the 60's & 40's be too much for my space?
Running a Pioneer vsx-515 avr 100x7 but will be
Upgrading to a new Pioneer elite 31
The new cs10 was a big improvement

MMMMM Pioneer Elite, I would go with 60s and 30s, the 40s are kind of large, I use 40s as my fronts so the cats can't kill the covers on towers. Otherwise I'd love me some 70s.

I would also go with the elite 32 avr as I don't think the 31 has preouts to add an amp in the future if you ever need one.

I'm thinking 60's for the fronts, 70's would be too much
Hell right now half volume is almost too loud
60's might be too much but better to over buy
Mine is used 90% for HT, have never turned on the tv speakers.

I had the 70,s for the fronts before I upgraded to the LSI 15,s, now used as side surrounds, alwalys outstanding in either configuration.
