Why cant you use another run of good spk wire for bi-wiring instead of the monster z2b? It seems to me that it would do the same as the z2b!thanks

There is nothing that says you can't. Go ahead and try it, see what you think. Some makers tailor their wires and technology for the high and low frequences, but I don't think Monster is one of them.Political Correctness'.........defined

It is a little cleaner of an install perhaps, but that's subjective. Monster Cable does have the runs split into high/low format.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

their is no difference in the actual high and low wire from monster, simply marked for install purposes.. cleaner looks maybe, but i used 2 runs of wire for a year before moving to bulk monster 14-4 bi-wire.. it does look better, specially with the monster lock banana's...MY HT RIG:

FWIW, I've read that it's preferable to run the same wire to both sets of posts in a bi-hhhwire configuration.
About 3 hours prior to the flowing of the hhhwine.
