Sda 1.2 il

I will post up some pics later on.

SDA 1.2. NON TL. Cosmetically, the wood is in good shape, the cloth on one of the speakers is in great shape. the cloth on the 2nd speaker needs some help. It looks like a cat used them so the grill and some of the side cloth is torn. All the drivers though are in good shape and all drivers are fine. They do hold when the pr is pushed in.

I am asking $1100 for the set. I live in Bolingbrook IL or zip 60440.

Why am I selling them. I have way too many speakers!!!

I will post up some pics this weekend on them.

Thanks!!

I messed up on my price. Polk only price $900.00 Craigslist price will be $1100.

I have not tried to remove the scratches on the back. They look like they could easily be hid but, I did not want to hide anything for the sale. I would rather the new owner know exactly what they are getting and not just something covered up.

The fabric on the front of this speaker is in good shape. the sides are in good shape except for this little snag on the side.

Looking at the pics, I need to clean my camera lens!!! The spots are NOT in the speaker cloth. Sorry about that.

The left speaker looks like a cat got to it. The drivers are perfect and are NOT dammaged. All the drives in both speakers play fine.

The grills and the side does have tares in them.

    bad grill

Please feel free to ask questions.

Again i could have hid some of the scratches on the back with marker or crayon but, I wanted to make sure the people of the board knew what they were getting. When they go to craigs list, they will be hidden. I will give them a few days on here before I list them up on craigslist and audiogon.

    Thanks for looking.

Great price!!! These can be converted into 1.2 TL's for not a whole lot of money and just a bit of time. Notice the crossover plate even has the same look as the 1.2 TL's. Somebody should jump on this one. GLWS.

Thanks for the GL wish. They are a great speaker.

I honestly have like an audio ocd or addiction where I have a hard time passing up trying something different or new all the time.

I have in my house, Vandersteen 2ce sig, JM labs 815, polk 1.2 and Non TL 2.3, carver amazing, 6 Jukeboxes, a ton of boomboxes, a small ht system in my den ( small means not a lot of space but I did splurge for a velodyne spl1200 for some thump) and BTW I'm in a townhouse!!! Its time to thin out the heard a bit LOL.

Was watching that auction and was thinking the same thing. If I were you I would invest $30 and redo the the cloth it'll pay for itself plus some.

    Wow!

I think I will post my pair on eBay without the AI-1, crossover plates and the rings.

I'll strap them on pallets and ship them.

A pair went for $3500 on eBay around 2007/2008. That convinced me to bankrupt myself and buy the pair I have now for $1500 at the time.

I would go for Newrival's since you are local to him and his needs nothing cosmetically before I would buy mine. They look darn close to new! He is a great person to deal with and one heck of a honest seller.

Mine are still available but, I am taking the advice of people on the board and in this thread and going to re-cover them before selling them.

So mine are for sale, but not just yet. Any questions feel free to PM me.
