First gen, black, absolutely pristine, not a single mark I can find. Have maybe 200 hours on them. DFW local, $OLD Pending P/U. You know what they look like, Here is a pic of the 'left' speaker next to the last decent thing Advent made before Recoton destroyed the brand. Orig retail $649, Polk Direct is selling them for $279/pair.
Cheers,
Russ

How do these compare to the Polk R50's? I love the lows I get from the R50's dual 6.5" drivers, they have no problem down at 80Hz before my sub kicks in...though I am looking to upgrade if the Monitor 60's perform much better.
By the way, I don't know if you remember me, but I bought my R50's from you a few years ago, and my apartment neighbors have been hating me since!
By chance, you have any rear bookshelfs for sale?TV: LG 47" 47LE5400 LED LCD 120Hz

dom, these are better than the R50, in basically every way I can think of. The R50 are a fine speaker for what they are, these are a big step up. If I were to put a scale to it and the R50 were a 1 and the RTi series were I 10, I'd put these at around a 8 or so, point being they're closer in quality to the speaker above them to the ones below them.
These are a no brainer at $150 as an upgrade from the R50.
If Russ doesn't have anything handy in the rear bookshelf arena I've got some R15 in cherry that I would sell you. In fact, Russ is coming tomorrow to get my RTi10, so maybe he could grab those as well and just give them to you all at once to save you from making two trips. -

Assimilated, I appreciate your info on the Monitor 60's, looks like I will have to jump on these. Any noticeable differences from this first gen vs. series II models?
And thanks for the R15 offer, I may have taken those if it were black instead of cherry, but the Monitor 30's are on sale right now for $89.99/pair so I'll probably go that route.TV: LG 47" 47LE5400 LED LCD 120Hz

The differences are subtle at best sound wise, in my opinion, more of cosmetic update. Dom, just let me know, I plan on putting these up on some public sites fairly soon.

Lol, Dom, the subtle differences I was referring to were the differences in gen 1 and 2 Monitors. Sound wise, Danny covered that above.
