For all of you who look forward to the monthly issue of Affordable Audio Magazine, we have recently merged with HiFiZine to create one bigger and better online, 2 channel, audio magazine. We have combined a majority of the writers and editors, and are now using the previous HiFiZine format to allow greater flexibility and interest in equipment reviews, DIY articles, and industry news. All of the past issues of A$$A are now archived at affordableaudio.org, with all future issues will be live on hifizine.com in a more interactive format that allows for feedback, comments, etc. I know that Mark posted here when every issue of A$$A became available, and I am more than happy to do the same with HiFiZine if there is interest.

Go right ahead......keeps it fresh in my mind. I always forget to check A$$A if it's not posted here monthly.
H9"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Pangea AC14SE MKII | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node 3 - Tubes add soul! -

Thanks for the feedback, and without any objections, I will post our bimonthly issues for all to read. We may move back to monthly eventually, but we decided to cut back to start the new merger and ensure quality over quantity.

Been thumbing thru the new issue, it's good to see A$$A in this new light. John and the guys have everything in place to meet the challenges of the next five years. I'll have a contribution from time to time, but mostly I'll be a sounding board for the staff. It was tough to let go, but like being a parent, at some point you need to stand back and just watch.Review Site_ (((AudioPursuit)))
