POLK and PSB

anybody else think the polk rtia9 look similar to the psb Platinum T8 Tower?!
what will be there diffrences?! just wondering....

    Hey Ericw2431,

    I see that you have the RTI A3s for fronts and the Pioneer VSX-32 for a receiver. How do you like this set-up? I am looking at this set-up for my house and would love to get your feedback. Sorry to post this here as I am unable to private message yet.

    Sure, they both look like any other multiple driver floorstander. The MTM array is used by everyone.

    Sonically? I think they're a wash since they don't outshine the other significantly enough for me personally. I'd stick with Polk based on historical preference and the fact I've rarely found an Al dome tamed well enough for me to like it. A couple standard manufacturers that know how are KEF and NHT....PSB isn't.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    yeah i decided to down grade from the a'7s but might jus go up to rtia9's =]
    but the rtia3 are nice if you calibrate them they dont sound as "Bright" as people say they do when calibrated at least thats what i think! get a nice sub and youl be set! midrage is just as good and clarity in HT or for gaming is just nice! go ahead and get the a'3s if your going for bookshelfs if music you might want to go a little bit larger on budget...but theyre not bad for music either! although they are quite big for bookshelfs they sound nice get some nice stands and you'll be good! as for the reciver i dont think im going to upgrade its just that perfect well for me! =] ........and ok so ill be stiking to polk! =]

    What stands are you using with the A3's? I've been looking for some nice stands that will match, just not sure which direction to go.

    i got the paradigm S series stands there around 150$? i like them!...
