Lord of the Rings Extended Blu Ray

I see Amazon recently made available pre-orders of Lord of the Rings Blu Ray extended edition. It won't be available for some time, but the theatrical version is out now.

I found the theatrical version on sale at future shop for $29.99, so I picked it up. The Fellowship of the Ring was ok (video wise), but I was expecting better.

Anyone know if the extended edition release will be improving the video, or just adding scenes?

Conqur, it was 29.99 for the whole blu ray trilogy. All 3 movies. Too good to pass up.

Thanks guys. Looks like I will be buying the EE version as well. Not sure if Future Shop still has the sale on, but 10 bucks each for the Blu Ray theatrical version is pretty good.

I'll buy the EE version when it comes out, but there are things I like about the theatrical release better in terms of editing and story flow. Ten bucks each seems good to me. Nothing wrong with having both versions.
