I know i can use them, what i meant to say - can i use that combo and still expect SRs to sound good?
SR passive x-overs are huge and need some fiberglass pods done before i can install them where i want them. It's still too cold and rainy to work outside with fiberglass but i'd like to at least swap my speakers out (take out MMC6500s and intall SR5250 instead - 5 mins job) so when i'm done with my SR x-over pods speakers will be broken in and ready to go.2008 Nissan Altima

Yes you can. The SR xover will have better electronics, but the Momo xover will do for the time being. IIRC the momo crossover splits the signal at 2.6khz while the SR one does it 3.5khz. No real issues there. I have my SR tweets cut at 2khz in my active setup.
Go ahead, hook it up. -
The SR crossover is 3.1 but the tweeters are cut off somewhere around 6 KHz and the mids at 1200 or something. The MM crossover will have your tweeter playing lower but that shouldnt be that big of an issue. Least you can do is hook em up and see how they sound.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
