I came out of our bedroom and my wife gave me that "look". As you can see from the photo, there's not a sock on the floor and I checked the bathroom and the seat was down. It can't be the new 5's and 7's can it?

I think maybe it's the dollhouse chair collection on the wall opposite the speakers. She has begun to suspect your hidden proclivities.

Maybe you could show her a pic of the 1.2s and tell her it could have been worse?

It's that ectoplasmic sprite hovering in front of the speaker atop that left Monitor 7.

I must say nothing I have compares to the SDA's, but the Monitor 7's have a great sound. As for the doll house chairs, you weren't suppose to see that, I'm glad I talked about my wife at least some people will think they're hers.

Some 10's would round things off nicely, I never see any come up for sale near me. I'm looking at some SDA 1c's on craigslist about two hours from me. The ad has a receiver, cd player and the c's for $250. I can't get the seller to respond, I'd give him the $250 for the SDA's he could keep the rest.

It's the wire management for sure. I think she can tell the cables should be better. Tell her you'll get right to it.

Its got to be the wire management, it can't be the speakers. If it was the speakers she'd never go in the family room.

Nice setup. My girlfriend wanted to kill me when I used 4 Monitor 10 and some 5jr as my two channel living room system. Luckily, she loves the sound and doesn't complain about the lack of space as long as we get at least one record from one of her favorite bands a month. That way she can be a contributor instead of a complainer.

How do you use 6 speakers for 2 channel?

I use one pair at a time for two channel and pick a pair based on what I'm playing. Truth is the SDA's get most of the play. The others have helped me hear the difference in sound stage, detail and what not.

Chapter 17, paragraph 2-1 in the Manly manual clearly states that this is an authorized purchase, however, it also mentions that verifying that the couch fabric is comfortable before committing, may be prudent.

Oh yeah, I just realized I seemed dumb on that one. It is either the four stacked in the front or the pair in the back, depending on where i am sitting or what i am doing. The back ones are really set up for when I am in the kitchen, but my roommate loves them all on for video games.

You should have one of these for backdrop next time....6' x 4' left channel only.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
