I'm going to return the AI-1 Cable back to it's original owner tomorrow.you guys talk to each other, you know what's going on.I guess it was a conflict, with my Amps.My Original Cable that came with the Polk 1.2's works fine,it always did.some one here on the forum said, that the AI-1 Cable would make the 1.2's sound even better. Some one else said, don't tie your amps together, get the Polk AI-1 Cable. There's not any more static in the left channel or anything. The Drama is over.

Ok, here is the deal since this involves me. I aquired 2 AI-1 cables....my intent was to peddle one (I'll say right up front that my motive was/is profit), keep one as there seems to be a market for them. A close friend says that Clyde needs one....so, Clyde offers me a sub for payment. Now, I hemmed and hawed a bit because I had no real use for said sub.......however, I agreed to exchange sub for cable.
I send cable to Clyde. Then Clyde wants me to reimburse him for shipping on the sub, which pissed me off (my POV being I'm trying to sell something, not buy something) and I responded in kind. I thought about it and I see Clydes point, the sub is probably strictly speaking more valuable and heavier to ship. I apologize and agree to pay the difference. Sub never arrives. Clyde says the cable makes his speakers hum......so, I don't want to leave Clyde hanging, so I tell him that I'll send him the other cable. (which I have in SC...not here in NC). In the interim, it comes to light that his amps have a grounding issue. Well, I reconsider, I still don't have the sub (which I hadn't sent the money to ship) and honestly I feel that this is getting to be a little too much of a quagmire, I mean, I'm putting two cables out and still don't have the sub that I didn't really want in the first place....so I PM Clyde and tell him based on other conversations etc, I would rather just have my cable back.
Now, let me just clarify....I have no animosity to Clyde, who seems to be a standup, good guy and I was probably more of a jackass in this than I should have been. I just have a lot going on right now and the whole deal was getting a lot more complicated that I have the desire to be a part of.

It's not as bad as it seems,at least in my opinon.we just had a misunderstanding,I never expected Troy to send me another cable, without getting the first one back.My mind was set on receiving the money for shipping. He was waiting on me,I was waiting on him.Hey,I'm man enough to take part of the blame.I should have sent the sub and cable, anyway. The Sub is being used as a paper weight.God Knows,I never tried to take advantage of any one. I thank Troy for sending the cable and Ted, RT1, for helping me with my amp.A trip to Palm Coast Fla,at an Audiophile store.the first time I ever seen speakers costing over a 100k and so many other things. He(Ted) has really been a blessing to me. God Bless everyone,Peace.PolkAudioClyde
