Onkyo TX-SR608 and RM705
Hi Everyone,
I've just connected my new RM705 to Onkyo TX-SR608. I've manually configured the satellites at 120hz and the Sub at 80hz.
Whatever I've tried, The sound has to much bass, the mid and highs are not clear, I had to get the treble up to +10db in order to have reasonable sound.
The Subwoofer's volume is at 50%. I've tried to spin the low filter to both sides, but it doesn't change the sound in a matter of clarity and sharpness.
I guess that this is a configuration issue...?
Any suggestions are welcome...

I've got the newer RM510 system hooked up to my TX-SR608. The two speaker systems are very similar except mine are updated versions and have 2 of the larger satellites in the mix. I wouldn't think they sounded much different though. I let Audissey set mine up, and it works rather well. The only thing I did different was I adjusted the front sat crossover down to 120 rather than the 150 it had set it to. But that was to fill in a hole that it had left for my set up. I'm not a big bass-head, so if it was too bassy I would know it. Mine sounds just right on the bass side of things. How big is the room you have it in? Have you tried Audissey yet? If not, you really should start there, then make tweaks if needed.
