Where to audition RTi A3 ?

I can't seem to find any local store that carries the RTi A3. BB doesn't carry it either. Are there any B&M stores that carry this product ? Where else can I try ?

    so I take it the answer is "none" ? that there is no store front retail for RTi A3 around here ? well I guess then the Polk RTi series would be out my list. Sad though.

    Where in Minny you from? If your close enough to Wisconsin then take a road trip to an American Electronics Store, it is a chain Furniture & Electronics store based out of Wisconsin. I bought my Rti a5's and my Rti a3's from one of thier stores here in Iowa, they have the Moniter series, the Tsi series, and the Rtia series. The RTia's are fantastic. I grew up North of Branierd so I was a Minny resident once myself.

    Just buy them. Most places have return policies. You won't return them though, they're amazing.

    Whats "sad" is that you lack the ability to call around in your area to see who may carry them.

    What a stupid thing to say. Who exactly, in your infinite wisdom, should I be calling ? Just randomly start calling around ? Sorry but I prefer to be a little more logical than that - as in start from the authorised dealer list of the manufacturer(which btw didn't list anything other than Bestbuy in a 100 mile radius). and I do not have that much time to just shoot in the dark. or as you describe it - "call around". (actually I am surprised I am wasting time replying to your idiotic post).

    There's so much I could say to that......anyway.

    Use the internet.

    Look up to see if there are any retailers (authorized or not) around you and just call to ask about their selection. I can understand the time restraint, but it doesn't take more than 10 minutes to find and call 4-5 different stores that are somewhat local to find out whether they carry the Polk's you're looking for or not.

    Continue being so ignorant and over-analytical and I doubt you'll ever find what you're looking for.....much less receive any advice on a good alternative.

    I bought them for wides. The room is not ready yet, so I hooked up the old Pioneer Amp/Tech platter. These are nice speakers, dont worry. I ordered from Crutchfield they are the only company that will ship to Alaska free.
    When deciding which speaker to buy, it seemed to me that there was a large gap in quality, and price, to upgrade from the Polk RTiA line.
