I have a Rega Original Planet Cd Player for sale. Works and sounds great. Comes with factory remote. I did remove the original rubber feet as they were pretty flimsy and starting to come apart. So, I will include your choice of 4 of Herbie's Tenderfeet or 4 of the rubber/cork footers. Unit plays CDR's as well. Stock pic below

$230 which includes shipping in the CONUS.

Um, participating in the lively discussions taking place on the forum all around you. Offer to share your knowledge with someone who is lower on the learning curve. Talk about why cables matter (or don't). Review a new piece of gear.

NOT posting useless drivel in someone's for sale thread (okay, guilty as charged).

To the OP - congrats on a nice sale.

I've owned a couple versions of that player and its pretty decent sounding in addition to having a neat loading door.

Guys - I'm hoping Cdy is just kidding and we all have to start somewhere. Let's let it ride for now and watch where it goes rather than talking about it in every thread he appears in ok?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Wow, tough bunch around here. I hope I didn't offend anyone. I'm new here, but have a long history on A-gon and eBay, under the same name. No identity changes to trick anyone. I just like stereo, and might be different from some. I like experimenting, and changing components. You know, buy something new, sell something old. With three systems at home and one in my vacation home, it's mostly keep it all. But once in a while you need to clean out the closets. You know, make room for some new speakers or something. Anyway, hope no one is offended.

Lastly, I had this Rega Planet CD player in the past, and it was great. A good buy for someone, and one to look for in an upgrade over the normal medium-fi.

    Warmest regards....

Eh, only when the rules are broken. I do not know whether or not you have read that we are not supposed to post in for sale threads or not......but we aren't supposed to. Honestly, the rule gets broken all of the time because most of us know each other and sometimes general chatter will help a sale...

...but that's not the point. Usually when someone comes in and posts few words in a FS thread and they are new? Just based upon history, the end result isn't good.

That said, welcome to Club Polk and a suggestion would be to read the rules first and then get to know folks. It's a great place to hang with many characters, the occasional trolls and untapped knowledge you couldn't buy if you tried.

My apologies. I had no idea we were not supposed to post in for sale ads. I'm just kind of observing at this point, and was not aware of that. Perhaps a rule that is not followed should be abandoned, in the interest of common activity.
