they still give you the discount even after the purchase of the sub?, the ad states they only sell them with a sub purchase, I assume they mean once you buy a sub you can buy the cable anytime, not just at the sub purchase date??

are they thick cable like the monster cable 300 or 400 series??

My vote would be for this blue jean cable made with Beldon 89259 coax. the same cable used in the Signal Cable analog 2 interconnect.

    blue jean cable

you could also go for a cheaper cable from Blue Jean...

    just my 2 cents...

The AR cable you are using is fine; save your money.

A sub cable needs to have two things: 1) good shielding to prevent hum pick-up, and 2) quality connectors that won't vibrate loose. The AR cable you own meets these criterion.

You won't be able to hear a difference in sound "quality" between various sub cables since the sub signal itself is a piece of cake (low frequency, narrow bandwidth) for any decent cable to carry.

Even SVS admits the Better Cables won't sound better; it's just well built and well shielded and won't create any problems of its own.

I use the Monster 300, but I would be just as happy with the Signal Cable, Blue Jeans, Better Cables, AR, or any other well built well shielded sub cable.

Thing is i am selling the cables in the flea market now, the AR cable i have seems thin, I found a new monster 300 cable for 25.99 + ship, or a used one on e-bay im watching, I have a guy who wants the cables i have for sale, waiting to see what he does today.. Plus this cable is way to long at 25 foot..

Thanks for the info though, will see what happens

Yes, if you show as an owner of an SVS, you should still get it at a discount(that's what I did), and that is what it states on their parts order page. No, it is not a thick cable like the monster. You are actually getting it at a discount. Just a 1 meter version from Bettercables is $45.00. It would cost you $85.00 for the 5 meter version from their site.

I agree that the bluejeanscable would be a good choice as well. They make a quality product.
