    I do not see a tweeter! just a mid-range in the middle.

    Thats a dome tweeter. Looks like a custom transmission line on a crap receiver.

    The guy is selling them both and the center for 400.00..but i dont trust him on the polk part

    They're not Polks, vintage or otherwise. If they were Polk, I'd ask for a model.

    Did you get any model numbers? If I stacked my 2 R50's up and added some woofers and a different tweeter, that's what it would look like.:confused:
