I feel that he showed a lot of restraint. He took several hits before he made the decision that the only thing to do was neutralize the threat. After that was done, he walked away.

Now... there's been a lot of discussion about the slam itself. It would appear that the instigator's shin was broken.... and a lot worse could've happened if he'd been dropped on his neck. If that were the case, the media would be calling Casey a killer... a brooding homicidal maniac who should've been pulled out of the school system long ago. BUT, that's also the risk you take any time you get into a physical altercation. One punch that goes slightly one way or the other can do things like rupture vital organs...

In other words... I don't really have a strong opinion for or against his actions... But I do think the instigator should've known better!
    Ludicrous gibs!

Is that it? Jeeez, things like that are tame and were almost a weekly occurrence compared to where I grew up. What's the big deal? The little guy got what was coming to him. The big guy could have walked away. This crap makes an internet sensation?

The big kid couldnt really walk away, the little kid had him up against the wall. Good on Casey for doing that. Maybe it'll teach that kid a lesson he wont soon forget. Crappy on the school board for suspending him. I hope he gets out of it.

The kid got what he deserved. I'm also proud of that girl for stepping in after the fight ended.

Punk @ss kids. I feel for the big kid; no child should go through school in fear of being constantly bullied. I just wish he had slammed that punk @ss kid's friends as well.
