Internet upgrade finally

My internet is down as of now. Guys are here for my upgrade. I upgraded to the dedicated 200 meg fiberline. Taking a few pic as well. Will post laster with details.

    Are you saying that you will have a dedicated 200 Mbps (download, I assume) line?? How much is that??

    Nice! Let's put it this way...my comcast connection just speedtested to 30.75Mbps - which equates to about 3.84 MB / s download. So His 200Mbps connection should yield downloads at what ... ~ 25MB / s? Sounds about right - I get 30MB /s when I'm on the Cisco campus.

    I am curious how expensive it is too.
    ALL BOXED UP for a while until I save up for a new place :(

    oops, didn't notice you're in Japan. I know Euros have these speeds and even Canadians, unfortunately it's going to be a while here in the states, unless you happen to live in one of Google's gigabit test cities.

    Canadians, eh?? We're mostly capped on speed, downloads, etc. etc. My 15 Mbps connection tested around 21 Mbps at the router.. Wooohooo.

    I knew Japan was so far ahead of everybody, but dedicated 200 Mbps to everybody??

    Ok, I am in Yellowknife and have a 25 Mbps connection. I am sure that you can get larger connections in the major centres. Surely TO has more than YK.

    They ran speedtest from my line and it came up to 120mbs. I just ran the speed test. net
