    And if I were to blame anyone ... I would have to "blame" my parents (specifically my mother). Her love of music was either passed along genetically or through the environment of listening to her play the piano.

    My first big audio purchase was using my graduation money to buy a pair of EPI 1200's, a Technics receiver, and a single play Kenwood CD player (I did not spend the extra $100 for the remote). That system rocked out a lot of college parties. :biggrin:

    I think my tastes would have evolved into higher end with or without Polk. They (the forum) just sped up the process.
