Older Surrounds with RTI A's?

I'm looking for surrounds to add to rti a7's and a csi a6. Considering going for older stuff to save some cash. Will the fx500i or fxi50 be a good match? How muh benefit will I get sticking with newer fxi a6's?

    Get a newer model used... It will be a good price. I'm sure the models you listed would be great too, but the resale value will be higher on the newer models when the upgrade bug bites next.

    For surround sound only, will I notice much difference between say a fx500i and fx300i?
