For Sound Quality:
OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) 12/3 copper, w/copper shield power wire.
Industrial spec. Pass&Seymour 5262i (Ivory).
Marinco 5266 male plug (brand new).
All components are used (the Marinco male plug is brand new).
I pulled a Furutech FI-11Cu male and Cu receptacle and installed the Marinco and P&S.
I used this in a second system for a while, so there may be some scuffs ect.
It is not perfect.
I put new heatshrink on the Marinco.
The length of the cable is roughly 1ft 10" long.
Anti-vibration/isolation:
Steel faceplate
Rubber under receptacle mounting points.
Aluminum box.
RFI/EMI:
Copper shield.
Ground:
Copper shield is connected to ground on male plug (drain).
Grounded to both receptacle and aluminum box.
Advantages:
Turns 1 outlet into 2.
Hydra 2 into a Hydra 3 for instance.
I used it on a Furman AC215 (Amp, Preamp, CDP).
Lower 48 states only.
