I got my AR counter-weight so AWAAAAAAY the Thorens goes.

I'm the second owner and I've had it since December 1993, never a problem. I've got the owner's manual but no box or packing. It's gorgeous rosewood, w/fully intact dustcover. Local pick-up only for $400.

I will not ship, or hold for a ridiculous amount of time. Please don't ask.
No first posters either.

It's exclusively here for now, but no activity and it goes to AK for the same money.

Sweet table George. I have a Thorens TD-160 which I've reserected from the dead and am waiting for a Mission 774 arm in transit as we speak for it. Thorens tables are fantastic. Good luck on the sale.

    George. You're killin' me here.

If the Thorens is still available after this whole house thing settles, I'll probably be snagging that instead of the Dual.

BTW, settlement is next Wednesday so I'll know by the end of the week what my cash flow situation is.

George it is plug and play? Does it need a new cartridge or anything?

    Thanks

It is plug and play. The Grado cartridge comes with the table and it has meat on the stylus.

Well I don't want to jump in front of anyone but I'm interested.
I'm about 6 miles from the BB bridge.

I'm killing you? John, the last time you asked me to hold something was right after my heart exploded. That stuff would still be sitting here over two years later if I hadn't sold it.

What did I ask you to hold? All your sales were in limbo during that time anyway and I wasn't going to worry about any stupid audio equipment when you clearly had more important things to worry about. Besides, 2 years ago, I was busy with court proceedings so I really have no idea what it was.

I have settlement on Wednesday. I can't spend any money until after that date 'cause I have a certified check written against my account. That's why I asked if you could hold that Dual. I asked you earlier if I could snag this Thorens and you never responded. I took that as a no. I was just hoping nobody would spring for it by the time I got a chance to grab the Dual from you 'cause i would have snagged it.

John, you asked me to hold an Onkyo preamp and another piece, for the charming young lady that you brought along for your visit.

It was a couple tuners and I grabbed them from you because they are currently sitting at my house. I think I picked them up from you that day we stopped by to visit after your hospital stay was over. Well, actually, I gave one of them to my dad 'cause his tuner flaked during a power outage and the display doesn't light up anymore. It was cheaper to just give him another one than to fix the broken one. She doesn't need a pre-amp tho' because she has a NAD integrated so I don't recall asking about one. The again, I was being sued by ex for her name change at the time as well as just starting a new job so if I did say something and I just don't remember, I apologize. Sorry if there was any confusion.
