Hi guys,
This thread is just for opinions only good bad or what ever.In a previous post I intimated that I wanted something better than the Onkyo P-301 PRE.After
many replies even after hearing I would like a McIntosh c-28, it seems that the p-301 does stand up w/ people actually calling for it .Now I have the same question for my Denon 1940ci--cdp which was purchased as with in a pkge deal and the price came to whopping $87. So what are my complaints, I think it is a mechanically noisey machine, but really have nothing to judge up against one on one. It does double duty between my H/t system and also is wired for my 2-ch rig . The shareing works fine and truth be told I've had no proplems only that it seems to be a little noisey, but once the music is playing the noise I referring to is the loading and sliding of the tray.
So why not invest in a blue-ray for my H/T, I've thought of that but movies are so below priority w/music being king right now. So for a post as long as this, could you guys please rate my CD player...LW
