Awesome movie directed by Clint Eastwood. Here is a copy and paste from Netflix
"Christine Collins (Angelina Jolie, in an Oscar-nominated role) is overjoyed when her kidnapped son is brought back home. But when Christine suspects that the boy returned to her isn't her child, the police captain (Jeffrey Donovan) has her committed to an asylum. John Malkovich co-stars as the crusading reverend who comes to Christine's rescue in Clint Eastwood's gripping period drama based on actual events."
The description doesn't even touch on the depth of the movie. A must see.

Eh, I have seen it and it was so exciting to me that, until I read the aforementioned, I kinda forgot what it was about. Saw it a while back but the movie isn't that old. I guess the point is, it wasn't a movie that "pops" into the ol' memory jar. Good storyline though.

Excellent movie that grabbed my attention and got me thinking a tad bit. I almost bought it on a blind buy but decided not to. Definitely worth the rental though.

Thanks for the headsup. The preview did not entice me to see it. I normally ignore Jolie movies that are not action flicks. I'll check it out.

The preview and the cover story do it no justice.

Powerful drama. So very sad. Whoever did the marketing for this film needs to be fired and ran out of business.

I thought you were talking about George C Scott's version of The Changling.

I remember really enjoying it. I thought all the characters were played well. I almost didn't want to watch it because of the story line, but Clint has proven he can direct well.

Amen to that George. I usually don't get these kinds of movies, but I love GCS! I would love to get the soundtrack, I love the music box lullaby. Even the music will creep you out.

Between that, the creepy seance, and chasing wheelchair... the cop, the ending, EEEK! I'm getting goosebumps just remembering it!

Those of you who like this kind of thing, get this movie. This is old school horror, that still works today!
